Quality Insulation, Inc. was founded by Jon Edwards in August 1979 when he was 25 years old.  The business started out of Jon’s home in Golden Valley, MN.  In the early years of our business we specialized in small, complex residential reinsulation.  As the business grew, we took on new home construction and moved to a warehouse location in Saint Louis Park, MN on the corner of Hwy. 7 and Louisiana Ave.

In 1984, Jon's brother, Craig, joined the company from an extensive background in the building trades. Together, the brothers established a reputation for providing the best insulation services and products in the market. In 1998, Jon's son, Mikel, joined the company as a field insulation installer. Over the years, Mikel has rotated through many of the positions at Quality, and is currently the General Manager. In 2015, Jon's younest son, Kris, joined the company as the scheduler. Kris has spent an extensive amount of time out in the field and is currently the Production Manager.

In 1990, Quality Insulation moved to its current location in Saint Louis Park at 3509 Raleigh Avenue where we have remained. In the past twenty years we have established ourselves as the premier insulation company in the Twin Cities. We have remained a local, family-oriented business.

Our experience of insulating thousands of new and existing homes has provided us with the expertise to properly insulate a wide range of complex projects. Looking forward, we strive to maintain the relationships we have established with our clients and build new ones with those who haven’t heard of us yet. We will continue to use the highest quality products, provide the highest quality of service, and hire the highest quality people.
